Engineering Manager – 工程经理

• 确定、实施和监控工程战略、政策和计划；determining, implementing and monitoring engineering strategies, policies and plans
• 解释计划、图纸和规格，并就工程方法和程序提供建议，以达到施工和生产要求；interpreting plans, drawings and specifications, and providing advice on engineering methods and procedures to achieve construction and production requirements
• 制定项目计划和预算；establishing project schedules and budgets
• 确保符合规范和既定计划，符合法律、法规和安全标准；ensuring conformity with specifications and plans, and with laws, regulations and safety standards
• 确保工程标准的质量、成本、安全性、及时性和性能；ensuring engineering standards of quality, cost, safety, timeliness and performance are observed
• 监督维护需求以优化效率；overseeing maintenance requirements to optimise efficiency
• 与市场、研究和制造经理保持联系，涉及新建筑和产品设计的工程方面；liaising with marketing, research and manufacturing managers regarding engineering aspects of new construction and product design
• 可能参与研发项目。may contribute to research and development projects

工程经理需要同时具备工程专业技术与管理能力，统领整个工程项目和技术的规划与实施，因此需要申请人有较深的行业经验与较强的管理能力，一般需要10年以上的从业经验。学历上，工程及相关专业的本科学位，以及研究生级别的学术深造是就业必须。

职位等级较高，一般就业于大中型企业和机构，没有相关的就业数据统计。不过，至少10年的从业经验对大部分国际留学生来说是比较难实现的。

不是新西兰移民局规定的短缺职业。
